Grimsby Enneagram workshop

hey, did we mention our enneagram workshop?

it’s on the 24th of  September – wow, that’s this month!
it’s from 9.30 til 4.00
it costs £15.00
it’s at St Michael’s Church on Great Coates road, Grimsby
you’ll need to bring some dinner.

Ok, so it’s autumn now, and you’re thinking… the leaves are falling, I’d rather stay in and watch the tele…

You want me to tell you why you should bother going?

The enneagram is a super cool and unique tool which will help you understand yourself better.

Thing is you see, its not just about ‘personality’ but spirituality too.

Ever wondered why you instinctively react the way you do?

A long time ago, a bloke caled Paul wrote: “I don’t really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate…”

Know the feeling? Yeah, me too.

This workshop will actually help you in your spiritual formation. No, seriously, it really will. Because it will show you what underlying motivations are driving you. You will be able to place yourself on that weird star shape, and understand why you are where you are… (and what that means!)

And that’s why its worth bothering with. Plus, maybe you could look for conkers on the way home, mmmm, shiny.

Spiritual formation – it’s better than the tele.

Book now using our eventbrite page, or just hit me back with an email to reserve yourself a place.

Enneagram Workshop in Grimsby

We have a treat for you this September, a workshop on the Enneagram, the spirituality/personality tool which helps explain so much about the way we are.

With roots in the desert spirituality of the 1st century AD, The Enneagram has been used by countless individuals and their spiritual mentors to understand the reasons for the way we behave and motivations behind the things we do.

As someone wise once wrote: “I don’t really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate.”

The Enneagram model helps us to begin to understand why.

Using a nine point diagramatic basis, The Enneagram acts as a ‘diagnostic’ device, to help us recognise our base motivations, aspirations and fears. By knowing ourselves better, we begin to be able to walk the road of recovery.

So, this day long workshop will help you see where you are on the nine point model, and what this means for you.

As friendly and informal as ever, the workshop will be conducted by Jane Padgett, an experienced Enneagram practioner based in Sheffield. In order to cover her costs, and to pay for the use of St Michael’s church, we have to make a charge for this event. If afterwards, you dont feel like it was worth it, I’ll give you your money back.

The event will only go ahead if enough people book, so please make sure you sign up as soon as possible, and if you do come… please bring your own lunch.

You can book on either by emailing me simon[at]emmausencounters.co.uk or by booking online.
